Yes, we've done it. We invite all those who want to learn spanish cooking to take part in our innovative classes. In fact our motto is "Learn Spanish cooking and cook learning Spanish".
Cocina Estudio-2 is not only a cooking school but goes beyond. Besides our Spanish courses, and after 20 years of teaching this language, we decided to expand our activities with a classroom-kitchen, so that our students can break the daily routine of classes and can have fun and aquire a better knowledge of our gastronomic culture at the same time.

Targets
- Unify two very important things, like language and cuisine.
- Facilitate a gastronomic culture to students.
- Ensure that students are not passive subjects, participating actively in the preparation of different dishes.
- Expand vocabulary.
- Knowledge of the foods and wines of this country and culinary customs.
According the organization of classes, we establish two types:
- Scheduled classes
- These classes are open to the public and are scheduled in advance. You can consult the schedule in order to get dates, content, capacity and prices.
- Classes "a la carte"
- These classes are designed for closed groups (between 6 and 15 people) that can choose both the menu ("tapa", main dish and dessert) from a wide range of options, such as date and time for the completion of the class.

Class content
- Explanation of the dishes prior to cooking (both vocabulary of products and actions to perform, history and origin of the dish, the products and ingredients used, and so on).
- Understanding the geographical and climatological regions of Spain as they relate to the given dish.
- Presentation of the appropriate wine that fits the dish (origin, type of grape and characteristics).
- Delivery of a printed prescription, so that students can keep as a guide.
- Preparation and performance of the dish. Students may participate in that preparation.
- All participants will eat the dishes prepared with wine food pairing chosen for the occasion.
